We created CryptoPix so you will have WAY more fun communicating with friends!
We got bored with regular texting, so we've created a whole new way to do it! Say hi to a friend, have fun with a new buddy, or create your own secret language just for you and your friends. The sky's the limit!
USER GUIDE:
1. Register a username/password and your email address. Optionally you can register your cell phone as well.
2. After you log in, click on Create New Message.
3. Mark the box next to "Easy Mode" before you click PREVIEW
and your friend will see the solution to each CryptoCode
directly beneath the image. This is helpful for friends that are new to CryptoPix!
4. Write your message and click PREVIEW. Your message is automatically converted into pictures and graphics!
Each word has been turned into an image or, sometimes, a combination. When you see a 'minus or 'plus' sign, it means you need to add or subtract letters to figure out the CryptoCode. If you see any you don't like, simply uncheck the box beneath each one to unlock them and click REMIX. The screen will reload, and the CryptoCodes you didn't like will be replaced with different images. Cool, huh?!
5. When you are satisfied with all of the CryptoCodes you see, click SEND.
6. On the send page, you can enter your name/nickname and you can select your own Avatar ( if optionally added to your My Images section). Next, enter your intended recipient's email address and/or their cell phone number and carrier(AT&T, for example). If you don't know it yet, just ask. They ARE your friend, right? Click DELIVER THE MESSAGE and your message is on it's way!
7. You can click on My Messages to see all of the CryptoPix messages you've sent and received.
8. When you are ready, it's time to start adding your own images! Simply take a cameraphone picture
(we recommend closeups whenever possible) and then send it as a message to pix@cryptopix.com. Enter a subject for the picture, make it a single word defining what is in the picture (for example, take a picture of your friend and enter the word 'buddy' in the subject. After about a minute your new image will appear in your 'My Images' section and when you write the word 'buddy', the picture you took will appear in the message as your first choice!
